On June 25th, the BroilerNet project and the aWISH project hosted a dedicated seminar focusing on broiler catching techniques and innovations in mechanical harvesting.

The XXI Jornadas sobre Producción Animal, organised by Asociación Interprofesional para el Desarrollo Agrario (AIDA), was held on June 3rd and 4th at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza (Spain).
At the heart of the aWISH project (Animal Welfare Indicators at the SlaughterHouse) is the largescale, automated at-slaughter monitoring of animal-based welfare indicators for quantifying animal welfare status on-farm, during (un)loading, transport and slaughter.
