On the 2nd of September, the project coordinator, Jarissa Maselyne, gave a compelling presentation on guidelines to validate sensor output for animal-based measurements of animal welfare during session 42 – Digital technologies for management.
The visit was organized at the Zalivno Polje pig farm near Bečej, the largest in the Carnex livestock system and in Serbia, with 2,100 reproductive animals and an annual production of about 50,000 fattened pigs for the Carnex meat industry.
AgEng conference was held on 1-4 July 2024 in the conference facilities of the Agricultural University of Athens by The Hellenic Society of Agricultural Engineers which undertook the organization of this knowledge-sharing event.
