The 1.5-day final conference kicked off with presentations from sister projects. In this session, Bas Rodenburg (Utrecht University) presented how we address welfare data and alerts within the aWISH project.
This was followed by presentations of the TECHCARE project results and activities. The conference concluded with a panel discussion on welfare and innovations with the participation of prominent stakeholders.
It was a great opportunity to exchange experiences with other researchers working in the field of precision livestock farming, and to identify common challenges for successful implementation sensor technology and management of animal welfare data.
